You have contacted organisations, sent letters, received replies.

Your questions, our answers
Answers to the questions you may have before entrusting your formalities to us.
I have already taken some steps. Is it too late to contact you?
It is never too late. We take stock based on what you already have.
Does the situation review replace a notary?
No, the role is different: we do not provide legal advice. Legal questions are referred to the appropriate professionals and, in the event of a dispute or an identified risk of insolvency, to a partner notary or lawyer.
What are the deadlines for accepting or disclaiming an estate in Switzerland?
Heirs have several options: accepting the estate, requesting acceptance subject to public inventory, a protective inventory, or disclaiming it. These steps are subject to precise deadlines: often three months, and one month for acceptance subject to public inventory. We go through these deadlines with you to make sure everything is in order.
Do I need to have all the documents before contacting you?
No, that is not necessary. You can come with what you already have.
How long does it take to review the situation?
Generally 1 to 2 hours, depending on how many formalities are already under way. We agree on the duration with you during the free initial conversation.
